Personal Email Address

There are two reasons for using a personal email address to access to the TG&A portal:

  1. A TG&A portal account is a personal account, with a login and password, just like an account at Amazon, Netflix, or the bank, and managing continuing education credit is the individual’s responsibility, not the employer’s.

Attendees need access to their education records, even when they change employers.

  2. Facility firewalls and email filters prevent attendees from using the portal.

The healthcare industry is careful about what they allow into their networks, for good reason.  Emails from outside vendors like Terri Goodman & Associates are often blocked, and links to outside websites like the TG&A portal may be blocked or filtered in a way that prevents the individual for getting the CE credit earned.

Attendees should receive emails from TG&A at their personal address and should access the TG&A portal from a home computer.

When attendees experience a problem with the evaluation/certificate process, it is invariably related to facility network security, and the only effective response is to update their TG&A account with a personal email address.
